About Veilforth

Experience Deserves a Deeper Look

Veilforth Experience Partners was founded on a simple belief: meaningful change begins when we truly understand what people are experiencing.

Healthcare organizations have more experience data than ever before. Scores, comments, trends, benchmarks, dashboards, and priorities can quickly become overwhelming. But data alone doesn't create change.

The real opportunity is uncovering what the information is telling us, understanding why it matters, and helping leaders and teams determine what to do next.

That's where Veilforth comes in.

We partner with healthcare organizations to reveal the story behind the data, identify the opportunities that matter most, and translate insight into practical strategies that can work within the realities of healthcare.

Reveal What Matters. Advance Change.

Why Veilforth

The name Veilforth reflects the work we believe matters most.

Veil represents what isn't always immediately visible—the experiences, patterns, barriers, and opportunities hidden beneath the surface.

Forth represents movement—taking what has been uncovered and moving it forward into meaningful action.

Together, they represent our approach:

Reveal what matters. Advance change.

Because understanding the experience is only valuable when we use that understanding to make it better.

Built From Both Sides of the Work

Veilforth was shaped by experience from both inside healthcare organizations and alongside them.

There is a unique perspective that comes from being the leader responsible for experience within an organization—looking at the data, answering to leadership, engaging teams, navigating competing priorities, and trying to determine where to focus.

There is another perspective that comes from serving as an advisor—working across organizations, asking questions, identifying patterns, challenging assumptions, and helping leaders see opportunities differently.

Veilforth brings those perspectives together.

We understand that healthcare organizations don't need another list of things they should be doing.

They need a partner who understands the complexity of the work and can help determine what will make the greatest difference in their organization.

What We Believe

Listen Before You Solve

The best solutions begin with understanding. We listen to the data, leaders, teams, patients, and families before determining what comes next.

Look Beyond the Score

A score is an indicator—not the entire experience. We look deeper to understand the interactions, processes, behaviors, and environments influencing what patients and families experience.

Focus Matters

More initiatives don't necessarily create more improvement. We help organizations identify the opportunities that matter most and create clarity around where to focus.

Strategy Has to Work in the Real World

A recommendation isn't useful if teams can't realistically implement it. Improvement strategies must account for workflow, resources, culture, leadership, and the realities of delivering care.

Sustainable Change Happens With People, Not To Them

The people closest to the work often understand the challenges—and the opportunities—better than anyone. Meaningful improvement happens when teams are part of creating the solution.

The Founder

Catherine Anderson, MS

Founder & Principal Consultant

Catherine Anderson is a healthcare experience strategist and consultant whose career has given her the opportunity to experience this work from multiple perspectives.

She has led experience improvement from within a healthcare organization, where she was responsible for understanding performance, identifying opportunities, engaging leaders and teams, and helping translate patient feedback into meaningful improvement.

She later brought that experience into healthcare consulting, working alongside leaders and teams as a strategic advisor and helping organizations understand their experience data, identify priorities, develop improvement strategies, and build greater capability around experience improvement.

Having sat on both sides of the table has shaped how Catherine approaches the work today.

She understands what it's like to be the leader looking at the data and asking:

What is really happening?

Why is this happening?

Where should we focus?

And how do we actually make it better?

Catherine founded Veilforth Experience Partners to create the kind of partnership she believes healthcare leaders need, one built on curiosity, experience, collaboration, practical strategy, and a genuine commitment to understanding what matters.

For Catherine, patient experience has never simply been about moving a score.

It's about understanding the human experience behind the data and helping organizations create meaningful change for the patients, families, and teams they serve.

A Different Kind of Partnership

We don't believe consulting should mean arriving with a predetermined answer.

Veilforth works with organizations, not simply for them.

That means asking questions before making recommendations. Understanding the environment before designing solutions. Recognizing what's already working before introducing something new.

And leaving organizations stronger, not dependent on a consultant.

Whether we're helping interpret experience data, facilitating a strategy session, developing an improvement plan, or serving as an ongoing advisor, the goal remains the same:

Helping you understand what matters and give your organization the clarity and confidence to move it forward.

Let's Reveal What Matters

Every organization has a story behind its experience data.

Let's uncover yours.
